Today was the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers Goat Farm walk, at Nick & Caroline Brandon's farm in Endon, Staffs. Marnie and I went, I gave a talk on meat goats and Marnie did the catering. There were nearly 200 people there. Goat burgers went down a storm and had all gone by 2pm. Our friend Mandy had made 200 muffins, and every single one was eaten.
Nick & Caroline milk 1500 goats in a huge rotary parlour, and have 1500 youngstock as well. It was a very big, well run business and was a credit to all the family and staff.
