Christmas Butchery

Well, I'm back. It has been a long time since the last post, as life here has been rather busy. We have been commissioning our new butchery.
It started the year as a straw yard full of goats. In September it was cleaned out and pressure washed. Then Dad and Alan Shore helped us lay a level floor for the coldroom. Marnie and I have been lucky to have our friend Ken to help us as we tiled the floor and clad the walls. Simon and Tim P plastered the ceiling. Paul did all the electrical work and Andy fitted the walk-in fridge.

Then Marnie and Carl were able to make sausages

Cathy helped to pack the sausages

Grace and Amélie kept an eye on the turkeys and Geese

And Douglas was in charge of the machinery...

Merry Christmas!!!

Looks nice! It is great that you were able to do much of the work yourselves.
